Welcome to Saffron Strings!

Every event for which we play is unique and we have a wealth of experience to help create the perfect background music especially for you. We also work with you to create a fully bespoke playlist for civil and church wedding ceremonies, and for civil partnership ceremonies. Members of the quartet studied at the Royal Academy of Music and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have played for orchestras as diverse as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera. We believe that live music adds a little extra sparkle to the occasion whether your special event is held in a castle, a country house hotel, or a marquee.
